Christmas can be a challenging time for our stress levels and it’s even harder for those of us with mental ill-health.

So many things that are part of our daily routine that we take for granted becomes disrupted by the change of pace in our lives at Christmas time.

Leaving all your preparations for Christmas until the last minute can cause unnecessary stress, but planning ahead can save you time and money. Making lists for jobs to do, presents to buy and groceries you’ll need helps to organise your thoughts. It may not get rid of it completely as we all have different stressed to face I’m sure but the more organised you can get the better you will feel about the festive season.

Shopping online can save you even more money, as well as avoiding the stress and crowds of the Christmas shopping season. Give as You Live provides a price comparison search and donates money to charity when you shop at no extra cost to you, so you can save money on your Christmas shopping and support a good cause at the same time! Some online stores will even deliver as late as Christmas Eve and many offer Click and Collect services. If the expense of Christmas is causing you anxiety, you may find this advice from Money Saving Expert useful.

As the Christmas season has arrived many of us have Christmas parties and festive celebrations planned. Even a few of our lucky patients have told me they have holidays planned. So please take advantage of our offer on our bleaching system it has been extended until the new year and is still at £250.

At Christmas time lets show we remember those who may go unnoticed the following links will give information how to, donate pet food, give a small gift, or you may be able to give your time to those who may be alone this time of year. A small gift can mean so much.

Wishes are something we all say to others. It could be congratulations, best wishes, birthday wishes, or anything depending on the occasion. But, for the new year, we all wish only one thing – a happy new year. The reason is that we want everyone to have peace, health, to be loved, and be happy for the rest of the year. So from your dental team here at Yew Tree we wish you a very happy healthy New Year.
